The Read Aloud Handbook

A Quote from the "Read Aloud Handbook" by Jim Trelease

The more you read the more you know.
The more you know the smarter you grow.
The Smarter you are the longer you stay in school.
The longer you stay in school, the more diplomas you earn and the longer you are employed-thus the more money you earn in a lifetime.
The more diplomas you earn, the higher your children's grades will be in school.
The more diplomas you earn the longer you live.

One of the best ways to encourage your child to enjoy reading is to read to them. We all love to be read to!!

There is a copy of the book in the office if you would like to check it out and read more about why we are running this program at Alward.
